2-Day Shipping Rate 2018 Comparison by Carrier
This chart covers 2-day shipping options for the major carriers—UPS, FedEx, and USPS—across popular weights and Zones for 2018. Two day shipping is important for e-commerce companies that value fast shipping options.
While UPS and FedEx rates look much more expensive than USPS, it is because they have residential and fuel surcharges calculated into the rates, and use publicly listed rates from both carriers, while many e-commerce sellers are able to negotiate better rates with UPS and FedEx. Even with negotiated rates, USPS typically comes out cheaper due to the lack of added surcharges.
