What do you do at ShippingEasy?
I work for the account management team where I help our customers adopt and utilize the ShippingEasy application. One of the most important roles is creating strong relationships with customers, where trust and reliability are gained. This allows for customer growth as the app becomes more and more robust.The other aspect of my role is to work and maintain strong communication practices with the sales, product, and development teams to aid functionality and improve customer acquisition.
What do you like about your specific role?
I like that no day is the exact same. It’s refreshing that my tasks, escalations, and the customer questions I encounter vary on a day to day basis. With all these different aspects, it makes for a fruitful learning environment. Whether i’m learning about something directly correlated to shipping, or a new business term, or an interesting company metric, there is always room to grow and develop as an individual within this company.
What is your favorite thing about working at ShippingEasy?
The people. I think we have really taken the time to hire amazing and qualified people that get the job done. I think it’s pretty impressive that we have created a environment in which I actually know everyone’s name I work with. We have made it a practice to hold events like Friday stand ups, team lunches, and happy hours where we all gather and have the opportunity to meet and greet.
