What Software and Technology Do You Need?

When considering which technology solution is best for your business you need to think about SaaS (Software as a Service) or an “on-premise” (which means it is installed on your computer).

Consider which carrier is right for your shipping process; USPS, Fedex, UPS, DHL, etc. In most cases sellers find that they can group and batch certain types of shipments to make sure they are using the best carrier for each individual shipment.

What Materials and Equipment Do you Need?

You will need to consider things like printers, scanners, scales, and other peripheral equipment that might be need to complete the shipping process.

Determine all necessary supplies to fulfill and ship orders to your customers; Boxes, Tape, Bubble Wrap, etc.

Consider any marketing material like flyers or coupons you want to include in the shipment to impress your customers.
