SO, WHAT’S THE GIG?
ShippingEasy is looking for a Sales Manager for our customer facing sales team! Ecommerce merchants use ShippingEasy’s platform to make their lives easier when it comes to getting their product to the end customer, automating inventory management across multiple channels, and driving repeat business through effective customer marketing.
You will manage the day to day sales operation providing coaching, performance accountability, and sales cycle process support to team members. To be successful, you will learn the product, connect with the team, and lead their day to day activities. You’ll also work with sales leadership and cross-functionally to launch new sales programs and campaigns that will drive growth for the business.
We work in a fast paced environment and represent an award-winning product and service team helping online merchants compete and grow in the world of ecommerce.
Coach sales reps on techniques to qualify, handle objections, identify pain/gain, and develop a sense of urgency to solve the customer’s challenges
Manage and hold sales reps accountable for achieving their daily, weekly, and monthly activity and results that meet and exceed company sales goals
Ensure that the sales team is honoring the SLA on any marketing/partner qualified leads
Review and score calls and demos to help reps identify growth areas and make improvements
Hold regular pipeline reviews to help reps move deals along and maintain a healthy pipeline
Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement, and report on the team and individual performance
Manage successful follow through of the sales cycle by ensuring accurate activity and lead information in Salesforce
Report and present daily, weekly and monthly results to the leadership team and at team and company wide meetings
Hold standing 1:1’s with team members
Onboard and train new employees and hold continuous training for the team
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have a history as a top salesperson and at least 2-3 years of experience managing a team.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills
Customer Focus: Act in ways that demonstrate customer focus and satisfaction by building effective relationships with customers, identifying, meeting and exceeding customer expectations, and by treating customers with dignity and respect
Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic – no rest for weary as we move at the speed of ecommerce
Working knowledge of Salesforce/CRM, Excel and other productivity tools as needed
High level of accountability and strong commitment to being part of a successful company
